Chocolate Pretzel Bites

I love to be in the kitchen, and often, the time I spend in the kitchen is time spent away from my kids.  So it is extra fun when I work something that we can all do together.  This treat doesn't even have a recipe, you could do it with one hand tied behind your back.  The boys were able to help me with every step of this Harvest Treat, and particularly enjoyed unwrapping all of the chocolates -- maybe because they were able to sneak a couple into their mouths.

You will need:

        - a bag of Hershey Kisses

        - a package of Reeses Pieces

        - mini pretzels

Lay out as many pretzels as you want onto a cookie sheet covered with parchment or wax paper.  Unwrap the kisses and place them on top of each pretzel.  Put the sheet into a 180 degree oven for 5-10 minutes.  You want the chocolate to get very soft but not lose its shape.  Let cool for 10 minutes and then place a Reeses Pieces on top of each chocolate, pressing it flat.  Let sit until the chocolate has hardened, or put it in the freezer for a bit if you are ready to start snacking.

Don't forget about tomorrow's drawing!
