Beginning

Everyone has to start somewhere.  This is something we have talked about doing for years, and seriously started planning about six months ago.  We hope to fill this space with sewing projects, tutorials, recipes and how-tos.  We want to share our hobbies and passions, and document it all with beautiful photos.

Why Goober and Bodkins?  These were the names we heard just as often as our given names growing up.  Our father made them up from who knows where, and those early names remind us of a time playing dress up with old curtains, designing homes for our Barbies, playing Post Office with our stationery and stamp set, and making cakes out of mud and water.
